The team, which participated in the World Twenty20, has seen a couple of changes in the squad that is being trained at the Arabian Sea Country Club in Karachi — several young players were chosen as replacements for the camp.

A number of U19 players have been included in the mix so that they can gain from the experience of training with Sohail and Latif.
“As far as getting tips from the two legends is concerned, that has been a really good experience,” an official from the Afghanistan training camp told The Express Tribune.
“But the matches we’ve played against some of the clubs and departmental teams have not been of much help because there was hardly any competition. We can’t challenge our players if they are chasing a meagre total of 150.”
However, the official said that the youngsters were learning a lot from the two former cricketers which would go a long way in helping them achieve better results in international cricket.
He added that it was the right time to blood in youngsters so that they could learn from the experience of their seniors. This would help Afghanistan excel in the future and produce better results for the country.
