Crime Against Women: Two girls assaulted

Police said that a case had been registered and the police were waiting for a medical examination report.

FAISALABAD: Two girls were assaulted in separate incidents on Saturday. Rehmat Ali said his niece Nasreen* was abducted by four men from near a clinic. He said she was taken to a field where she was raped. He said she was found abandoned there by some farmers and taken to a hospital. The Tandlianwala station house officer said a case had been registered and the police were waiting for a medical examination report. He said the police looking for the suspects. Meanwhile, Ghafooran Bibi said her daughter Rehana* told newsmen that her daughter went to Jhang Bazaar and was abducted by one Muhammad Asif. She claimed that her daughter was raped. The Jhang Bazaar SHO said a case had been registered but the accused could not be arrested so far. He said the police was waiting for the medical examination report before conducting raids.
