Strengthening ties: Delegation from Iran meets SALU VC

The delegation included Taufeeq Ahmedi, a consultant at Iran’s Housing Foundation, and spokesperson Syed Fazil Razavi.

KHAIRPUR: A delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran met Shah Abdul Latif University’s vice chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Parveen Shah at her office on Friday. The delegation included Taufeeq Ahmedi, a consultant at Iran’s Housing Foundation, and spokesperson Syed Fazil Razavi. While the delegates expressed their views on mutual cooperation and common interests shared between the neighbours, Dr Shah reiterated that Pakistan shares a historic, cultural and religious bond with Iran. Assuring that Iran will extend support in various exchange programmes, Ahmedi stated that health and education are the country’s first priority. Finally, the VC presented Sindhi Ajraks to the delegation.
