Unlawful practices: 1,128 students caught cheating

At least 10 invigilators were booked for connivance.

HYDERABAD: Amid widespread complaints of cheating in the recently conducted board examinations of class nine and 10, 45 vigilance teams of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Hyderabad caught 1,128 students cheating and 187 impersonating. As many as 127,882 students took the exams in 208 centres established in ten districts of Hyderabad division, of which over one per cent were officially caught violating the examination rules. Moreover, at least 10 invigilators were booked for connivance.
