Bank heist: Bank in Korangi robbed of Rs1m

SP Korangi Usman Bajwa said around six men came on motorcycles at 9:55am and looted the bank.

Unidentified armed men barged into a branch of Tameer Bank in Korangi No. 1 and took away Rs1 million.


SP Korangi Usman Bajwa said around six men came on motorcycles at 9:55am and looted the bank.

They fled the scene after erasing the recording from the bank's closed-circuit television camera system. Bajwa said that the bank manager's statement has been recorded and a case no. 75/2014 has been registered at the Korangi police station on the complaint of the manager, Imran Nizami.
