Petty dispute: Man beaten to death

DOLTALA: An 18-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death during a cricket match in Doltala on Tuesday. Awais, Imran Farooq and some other boys were playing cricket when a brawl broke out over the game, police said. Imran allegedly thrashed Awais with his bat and fled, leaving him critically injured. Imran was taken to a hospital, where he died. The local police have registered a case, said an official.
