NWFP forms commission to investigate Hazara riots

PESHAWAR: The NWFP government formed a commission to conduct a judicial inquiry into the riots that have plagued Hazara for the past few days.

Seven people have been killed in the riots and more than a hundred have been injured. The commission will be led by Peshawar High Court Judge Abdul Aziz Kundi. The request for a judicial inquiry was made by the NWFP government.

The committee is expected to present its report within15 days.

ibrar khan | 14 years ago | Reply salam to all muslims living in pakistan. we are one nation, and majority of pushtoon living in khyber pushtoon khawa province, four signs of unity is balochistan sindh, pushtoon khawa and punjab. these are sign of four province, actually hazara people should be understand that majority got goal throgh struggle peacefully, if they are in majority , they should raise problmes in parliment, they are our brother, but they have a no right to cry for such a non issues points, abbotabad, mansehra are not the name of hazara poeple, these name related to foreigner, so why they are silent, please we are brother just come to the dialogue with govt,peacefully not by creating violation, because some unfamiliar parties have a dark agenda against our relation in this province, once again hazara pukhtoon zindabaad and they are brothers, so keep away from non issues.

Asif | 14 years ago | Reply Mr.waliulah i agree with u that mansehra and abbotabad are non muslim names but they people were heros of this land by the way ur peshawer is not a pushto name and we value people those who gave name Mansehra, abbotabad etc. coz they were people and u should respect hindu coz bacha khan was sarhadi gandhi and and bacha khan has family relations with gandhi family and recently haji adeel of anp has told that raja dahir was hero and MOHAMMAD BIN QASIM was wrong .so we do not to want to live with you ur pushtoon belt's economy totaly base on hazara . we give tea , electricpower, tourisim,educational institutes,tobbaco,forest , water,all dams etc and 84% revenue and you people give us klashinkov, best quality chars and girda,discriminations every qoutas and jobs for you even half pushtoon belt do not pay electric bills .time and people have changed man and we are not your slaves so AIK HI NARA SOOBA HAZARA OR other hand UDHAR TUM IDHAR HUM.TAKE LESSON FROM MQM.AND iam happy that u have three sims plz one sim give to hazaraywal coz ur been grown by our revenue.

Secondly names like Abbottabad, haripur, Mansehar are dedicated who make these cities whether they are Hindus or any caste etc.

Hira | 14 years ago | Reply Pakhtoon bhayi i want to say 1 thing that all pathans are not in favour of Pakhtoonkha.U said that Pakhtoon are more than Hazarawal so why ANP and u have no power or strength to do refrandom in NWFP,because this is 100% sure that more than 50% people are against this Pakhtoonkha name and want that name which show positive response to every one.In any place may be in a country or province u can't ignore 4500000 population of hazara ,and other peoples too. So thats absolutly wrong word which shows lasaniyat. U know hazarawal are loving people and have alot of respect for our Pakhtoon brothers but ANP showed very bad behavior with us. Sonow we want separate province SOOBA HAZARA,because U told us wehazarawal are separate and different from u people pakhtoon.

Hira | 14 years ago | Reply Except hazarawal ,any one can say that this new name has not snatched identity from hazarawal becauase their identity is not snatched by any other.Hazara is a peaceful area of the Pakistan and we want peace forever .Hazrawal has lost their happiness and peace just becoz of new name.How pathan can feel our emotions and tensions if they are in favour of Pakhtoonkha?

khalid wazir | 14 years ago | Reply **salam , i am a student of Ayub medical college .i wants to present my views on this hot topic. i am greatly shocked at the deaths of those HAZAREWAL. they are our brothers.we especially the students must be broad minded in this issue.we should not always work with passions but we must use our brain some time. we must think of bad situation of peace in other parts of NWFP.we must not allow any disturbance in this peaceful area of HAZARA.one important thing is that that The new name of NWFP has not snatched the identity of any one.NWFP is the land of brave puhtoons .but this name has not any advantage to us , it has not solved our problems neither regain peace in tribal and settle areas .On other hand it has not given any identity to us , the whole world knows about th great RACE OF PUHTOONS . we have our identity earlier and now.

Hazara is the piece of Pakistan.I want to share my as well as all hazarawal's very very sad feelings to you.Today we have no identity .ANP snatched our identity,took revenge.Because in 1947 ,through refrandom Hazara's 100% peoples voting was in favour of Pakistan and those pakhtun or todays ANP was against Pakistan. So ANP took revenge by playing the holy with the blood of Hazarawal and get what they want i mean Kheber Pakhtunkha.No one knows that how much this word hurting us everytime ,whenever we think about this. In this KHEBER shows nothing and PAKHTUNKHA shows just and just PATHAN and only those pathan which speak pashto ,but there is one thing in Hazara that here is alot of pathan famalies which can not speak pashto. One important point is that ,its not must that all pashto speaking people are in favor of PAKHTUNKHA because this is the only agenda of ANP or Surkh Poosh.We should note down that in Peshawar,Mardan,Bunair,Deer ,D.I.G etc many pashto speaking people protest against this name.450000 peple are feeling upset and hurting by ANP and Govt. but no one in Pakistan Govt to hear the screaming of Hazarawal.We want now separate province as SOOBA HAZARA.I appeal to Govt please return back our IDENTITY.No one can live without IDENTITY.At this time 11 people are killed by police,and in killing our provisional Govt and administration are responsible and those police men are responsible which did straight firing. SOOBA HAZARA BAN K RHE GA Q K AB IS MAIN HAZARAWAL KA KHOON B SHAMAL HO CHUKA HA.
