Kurram Agency: Two killed, one injured in separate incidents

A man allegedly gunned down his parents after a heated argument with them in Dal Village.

PARACHINAR: A man allegedly gunned down his parents after a heated argument with them in Dal Village of Upper Kurram Agency on Saturday. An official of the political administration said Irshad Hussain got into an argument with his parents which later turned into a brawl. Infuriated, Hussain took out his pistol and shot dead his mother and father. The father was identified as Iqbal Hussain while the name of the deceased woman could not be ascertained. Both were killed on the spot and Hussain was arrested by the police afterwards. Meanwhile, a woman was injured when a mud house collapsed in Punjabi Bazaar of Parachinar due to heavy rain. The families of Mumtaz Hussain, Kamil Hussain and Muhammad Ali were jointly residing in the house. While the men were away for work, the roof of the triple-storey house caved in and one of the women was caught under the debris. She was taken to a hospital by neighbours where she is undergoing treatment.
