Referring to the treason case against former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, Hussain said that if Article 6 of the Constitution was being brought to the limelight then Article 63 should be looked at as well.
On March 31, Musharraf was formally charged for subverting and circumventing the Constitution by imposing emergency on November 3, 2007. Musharraf had rejected the charges levelled against him.
Even though Article 63 is present in the Constitution, people who had spoken against the army have not apologised as of yet, the PML-Q chief further stated.
You can view the five charges levelled against Musharraf here.

Speaking about the new controversial ordinance, Hussain stated, "We will never let the Protection of Pakistan Ordinance to pass."
The ordinance is a document that declares all peace-disrupting elements as ‘enemies of the state’, and states protection of life to be the state’s top priority.
This controversial bill has received a lot of opposition and criticism from various political parties. It was challenged in the Supreme Court on April 9 by social worker and advocate Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi. He had filed the petition stating that it violated basic human rights.
On October 20 last year, President Mamnoon approved the Ordinance, stamping his approval following advice from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Yeah and vowing to elect a military dictator in uniform 10 times does not lead to disqualification.
Seems that speaking against the army is like the laws on Blasphemy!!!
Great to see all the remnants of military dictatorship are coming out in Commando's support. Some people never change despite all the election defeats. Ch. only sees his future as a supporter and right-hand man of another phantom dictator otherwise it is the end of his political life.
And what about those who have been speaking against the Courts?? This tout of establishment has always back-stabbed the process of democracy in Pakistan. When the former Chief Justice was suspended by the then Dictator in March 2007, Chaudhry Pervaiz, then CM Punjab, sent Police to drag the CJ from hair and ransacked the office of a TV channel which the entire nation watched live. When Musharraf dumped Chaudhries and signed NRO with PPP in October 2007, these opportunists left him alone upon his dwindling support. The most-opportunist Chaudhries were taking oath of Ministries in May 2011 under PPP Government when the entire country was shocked on USA's surprise raid for OBL in Abbottabad. The multi-billion NICL Corruption Scandal involving Moonis Elahi has been buried with the help of fake investigators of then Interior Minister, Rahman Malik The era of these corrupt opportunists is over forever InshaAllah!
yes indeed, very few of them knows ...
seeking disqualification of 2-3 PML-N's minister. WHo will raise thsi issue.?PML-Q, or MQM?
Great man ch.sahab! We need more truth politicians like him.
What about the contempt of the parliament, the people's mandate, the Contempt of the people.
Chaudhry Shujaat is absolutely right that Article 63 of the Constitution should be applied to both Asif and Saad Khawaja for bring the Institution of the Armed Forces in to disrepute and ridicule.
the unemployed looking for work
The first correct statement from chaudry shujat, the rest of the chaudry and khawajah went for qeemay walay naan.
Article 63: "A person shall be disqualified from being elected or chosen as, and from being, a member of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament), if:- ... he has been convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction for propagating any opinion, or acting in any manner...which defames or brings into ridicule the judiciary or the Armed Forces of Pakistan, unless a period of five years has elapsed since his release"
Musharaf/APML/Army/Pakistani awam should file case against the offenders for ridiculing Armed Forces. If found guilty then these ministers would be disqualified for Parliament.
Chaudhri Shujaat and his partyruled Pakistan only with the patronage of Musharraf. Please let him speak to show his truth to the salt.
Ah yes, ever the person to come to the Army's aid. This is the same guy who said that anyone who criticises the Army should be shot.
