Street Child Football Team: President gives Rs0.1m to players

President invited the team to State Guest House to congratulate the players for displaying brilliant performance.

KARACHI: President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday gave away Rs0.1 million cheque to each member of Pakistani Street Child Football Team, which finished third in Street Child World Cup (SCWC) in Brazil by defeating the United States. The president had invited the team to State Guest House to congratulate the players for displaying brilliant performance. He said that there was enough potential among the youth of the country and the recent performance of these young players had provided testimony to this fact. The team included Sameer Ahmed, Mohammad Shoaib, Aurangzeb, Meher Ali, Rajab Hussain, Owais Ali, Salman Jamal, Abdul Razik, Faizan Fayyaz and their coach Abdul Rashid.
