KARACHI:

Former president Pervez Musharraf will be shifted to PNS Shifa Karachi for his treatment.

Meanwhile, special arrangements have been made at Shifa for the former president’s treatment and security.

A special team of doctors has also been constituted for his treatment. Banners have been displayed outside the hospital to stop the movement of irrelevant people.

The maintenance and repair of the CCU of the hospital has been completed and no one is allowed to go near it.

The hospital sources have, however, expressed their ignorance in this matter.

According to the sources, there are serious threats for Musharraf in Rawalpindi or Islamabad and, therefore, he has selected Karachi for his treatment.

What a pity! After one intelligent leader, General Ayub Khan, we were lucky enough to get some one like him, Pervez Musharraf. Some one who was really on a right track and would have made a great change in Pakistan, but of course our foolish followers of Nawaz Sharif, Zardari, and the Bhutto family wouldn't have that because they want Pakistan to be ruled by a few rascals who in the name of Islam are doing the most 'un- Islaamic' things to fill up their own pockets. It's a shame that millions of Muslims died at the time of partition and our leaders Qaid-e-Azam, Liaquat Ali Khan gave their lives to build a nation whereby we could have prospered - but look where we are now ! I pray for Pervez Mushraff - he's a man of principles who had the courage to return to Pakistan well knowing what would happen to him. He could have been the 'Ata Turk' of Pakistan and who knows may be he will if Allah wills so.

He is at least some kilometers near Dubai now. So yeah, definitely en-route.
