In a positive development related to the revival of international cricket in Pakistan, an England-based Lancaster University has confirmed its participation in a championship starting this week in Lahore.
COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) Lahore is organising the COMSATS-Lancaster Cricket Championship which is scheduled to take place from April 9-12.
As many as six teams divided into groups are taking part in the event, the final of which will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Apart from the visiting team, CIIT’s outfits of Lahore, Islamabad, Vehari, Attock and Wah and Abbottabad are taking part in the tournament.
