PESHAWAR: The main gate of the house of Jamshed Baghwan, the bureau chief Express News, was damaged in a grenade attack in the Murshadabad area early on Sunday morning.
Around 6:25am, two masked men riding a bike threw a hand grenade at the main gate.
Police said that it was a Chinese-made hand grenade and its lever had been found.
“We have registered an FIR in the case on the complaint of the house owner Jamshed Baghwan,” said an official of Yakatot police station while talking to the Express Tribune.
This is the second time Baghwan's house has been targeted. Earlier on March 19, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused had a medium-intensity explosive device, weighing arounf two-kilogram, planted outside Baghwan's house after it was spotted by inmates.
