LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sought comments from the Manawan SHO in a petition by a man seeking to register a case against his daughter’s father-in-law, whom he accused of raping his daughter and forcing his son to divorce her. The petitioner said his daughter had married for love, she visited him on March 15, and told him her father-in-law had raped her. The petitioner said his daughter phoned her father-in-law, who said that he loved her and wanted to marry her. The petitioner said he heard and recorded the conversation. He said the Manawan SHO refused to register a case against the father-in-law.
