Road accident: 3 Rangers officials killed, 35 injured

Three Pakistan Rangers officials were killed and 35 others were injured when a truck they were travelling on overturned near Sodhian on Saturday. Rescuers said Naik Majeed Asghar, a resident of Noorpur in Khushab, Naik Arshad Mehmood, a resident of Kanganpur in Kasur, and Sepoy Allah Ditta, a resident of Baddo Malhi in Narowal, died on the spot. They said 35 others were taken to Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan where 20 were discharged after being provided first aid. Funeral prayers for the deceased were held at the Cholistan Rangers headquarters in Rahim Yar Khan.
