He further said that the guards were released inside Iran after mediation by an elder of the Shah Bakhsh tribe.
Earlier on Friday, Iranian border guards captured by Jaishul Adl rebels near the border were freed, the extremist group and an Iranian official said.
According to a media report, however, only four of the five abducted men were handed over to Iranian officials in Pakistan alive. They were accompanied by the body of the fifth, which the rebels said last month they had executed.
“The soldiers were handed over some hours ago by the small terrorist group Jaishul Adl to Iranian representatives in Pakistan,” said the Fars news agency, quoting an unidentified security official.
Pakistani officials could not confirm the release. “They have not been released in Pakistan. We don’t know where they were kept or released. We have no indication that these Iranian border guards were kept in Pakistan,” Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam told Reuters.

Iranian guards were never in Pakistan as if we have full control of our borders and there are no safe havens. There are no powerful terrorist groups and we are not negotiating with any terrorist network in Pakistan. Also there has never been Taliban Quetta Shura and there has never been OBL or his harem in Pakistan either.
@Adil Uddin, please pledge your allegiance to Pakistan first then Iran.
We have been saying the same about Osama bin laden. Then we said he was not even killed on May 02 2011. We also say Mullah Omar in not in Pakistan, still everyone knows there is Quetta shura of Taliban headed by him.
Lets admit that Iranian soldiers were released inside Pakistan, at least tacitly, and must mend our ways. No one is going to tolerate such a state.
The present government would do everything to damage relationship with Iran, the nation which was among the very first ones who would recognize Pakistan after the country's formation in 1947. Iranians even issued postal stamps with pictures of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and we do share some cultural and linguistic similarities with them. Afghans on the other hands were not even ready to recognize Durrand Line.
I strongly think that BLA, Lashkar e Jahngvi, Jandullah and Jaishul Adl are different masks worn by the same enemy of Pakistan and Iran. Not to forget that BLA includes parts of Baloch dominated areas of Iran and Afghanistan too in their maps of Azaad Balochistan.
I would have loved to see Iran trying to attack Pakistan ! And what would have been the response of our govt and forces !
Then what was all the halla gulla about!
