Grenade attack: One killed, nine injured on Bara Road

Officer claims initial investigation suggests there was a fight between 2 groups in which someone threw hand grenade.

PESHAWAR: A man was killed while at least nine others were injured in a grenade attack on Bara Road within the jurisdiction of Sarband police station on Sunday night. The police said unidentified people threw a hand grenade outside a workshop in Bara Qadeem area, Bara Road, leaving 10 people injured. A police official told The Express Tribune that they had cordoned off the area and were investigating. He added that they first took the incident for a roadside bomb blast but confirmed that it was actually a grenade attack. The officer claimed that an initial investigation suggested there was a fight between two groups in which someone threw a hand grenade.
