Nawaz was talking to the media after a meeting with officials of the South Asia Free Media Association (Safma) in Lahore. He said Pakistan could not progress until the mandate of the people exercised through the ballot box was accepted. He said that a national consensus was needed to save Pakistan from the crisis it was currently facing.
Nawaz said all political parties should sit together and formulate a 25 year agenda for the nation, adding that his party fully recognises the supremacy of the constitution. He said all stakeholders will have a say in the Charter of Pakistan.
The PML-N chief also apprised the media on his meeting with Safma officials.
