Be it that dentist appointment, or that hair cut you’ve been thinking about getting, just do it. Call right now! Once you’ve made an appointment you’ll be more obliged to go.
2. Throw something out

Those old phone bills you have no use for anymore, that vase with those wilting flowers, there is almost always something or the other lying around that you don’t really need. You’ll feel much better knowing you’ve begun decluttering your life, even if it’s only one small step.
3. Drink a glass of water

Chances are you don’t drink enough water. That is the case with most people, and drinking enough water has a number of added benefits you shouldn’t be passing up.
4. Text your mom

If you live with her, go give her a hug. Or text anyone you feel would be happy to hear from you, be it an old friend or a relative.
5. Clean up your desktop

All those old documents and pictures cluttering up your desktop or laptop, those rows and rows of icons, they all need to go. Delete, move, organise. There is nothing quite as invigorating as a clean desktop. You can change your background while you’re at it too.
6. Change your phone background

Speaking of backgrounds, changer your phone’s wallpaper too. Even better, take an artistic picture and set it as your background. You’ll feel proud when people compliment you on it.
7. Take a quick walk

It doesn’t have to be around the block or in the garden; you can pace back and forth your own room if you like. Just get moving, even if only for a little while.
8. Take a few deep breaths

Breathe in, breathe out. Close your eyes listen to your heart beating, feel your chest rising and falling. Even three or four deep breaths will leave you feeling fresh and rejuvenated. Go ahead, try it now.
9. Blast a song you dig

It could be something from the 90’s, it could be something you heard on the radio yesterday. Put on your earphones, or turn up the volume on your speakers. Nothing feels better than grooving to a good beat, or singing along to a soulful Adele number.
10. Check your bank balance

It’s essential to know where you stand financially. Don’t just check your bank balance now, do it regularly. While some people prefer to keep a more laid back attitude when it comes to finances, there is no denying that sooner or later, you will have to step up your game, so better now than later!
