Pakistan National Heart Association (PANAH) to set up a modern 250-bed hospital in phase-8 of Bahria Town.


Maj-Gen (retd) Masoodur Rehman Kiyani told media at a news conference here on Thursday. PANAH Director Operational Sanaullah Ghuman and Maj-Gen (retd) Muhammad Ashraf Khan were also present on the occasion.


Kiyani said President Mamnoon Hussain will perform groundbreaking of the hospital for which Bahria Town former chairman Malik Riaz Hussain has donated 9 kanals land. The hospital would be completed in 2015.


“The hospital will start treating patients in OPD from August 2015 while it will be fully operational in March 2016”, he said. The hospital would be fully equipped with latest machinery to treat heart patients free of cost.


He said that PANAH was using all available resources to build this new hospital.
