For peace: Poetry session held in Kurram

PARACHINAR: A poetry session held at Governor House, Parachinar on Wednesday highlighted the security threat that confronts tribal areas. The session, titled All Fata Peace Mushaira, was organised by FATA Secretariat in collaboration with the political administration. Poets from the seven tribal agencies participated and pledged to promote positive activities. Tribal elders from Kurram Agency encouraged the poets to work for peace and normalcy in the region. Frontier Corps Lieutenant Colonel Tariq Zaman Kayani also presented his poetry. The poets hailed the natural beauty of the region and highlighted the natural resources Fata is blessed with. They termed peace as key for putting the region back on the track of development. The Khattak dance was also performed on the occasion.
