Violence Alleged gangster killed in encounter

KARACHI: A man allegedly associated with the Lyari gang war was killed in an encounter with the West zone police in Mawach Goth on Wednesday. A special team of West zone police, during a raid in Mawach Goth, killed the alleged gangster, Umair, in an encounter and recovered a hand grenade, a pistol and a motorcycle. Inspector Shafiq Tanoli said that the deceased was affiliated with the Uzair Baloch group and was involved in the murder of five people including two policemen from the crime investigation department.
