Madina-Lahore: PIA flight makes emergency landing
The plane had to be towed to the terminal as the front wheel jammed.

A PIA flight, flying in from Medina made an emergency landing at Lahore airport on Tuesday night. According to details, Flight PK-744 was already 18 hours behind schedule and made an emergency landing at Lahore airport when its wheels jammed during landing. The plane had to be towed to the terminal as the front wheel jammed. According to a source in PIA’s administration, there were 500 passengers on board; all, including the crew members, were safe. The official said other incoming flights were delayed as the runway was occupied by the plane. PIA spokesperson Athar Awaan denied reports of the emergency landing and said the landing was ‘normal’. When asked why the plane was towed to the terminal, he refused to comment.
