Rainfall: Fresh spring showers soak the city

Provincial capital receives at least seven millimetres of rainfall.

The provincial capital received at least seven millimetres of rainfall as Peshawar valley witnessed yet another spell of spring showers along with most parts of the province on Sunday.


Director of the MET Office, Mushtaq Ali Shah said the rain is expected to continue in some parts of the region till Monday (today). “Maximum temperature was recorded at 21 degrees centigrade while minimum stood at 13 degrees,” he added. It was sunny from 10am till 11 and started raining after 12pm.


“Around 7mm rain was recorded in Peshawar, 3mm in Timergara, 6mm in Dir, 1mm in Darosh, 6mm in Saidu Saharif, 3mm in Malam Jabba, 1mm in Kakol, 6mm in Bannu, 14mm in Chirat, 7mm in DI Khan and 5mm in Kohat,” he added.
