Infrastructure: PM says LDA, govt must work closely

PM directs officials to complete feasibility of Ravi Zone Development.

LAHORE: “The provincial government and the Lahore Development Authority should work closely together for infrastructure development,” said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday. He was presiding over a meeting at his Raiwind residence on the restoration heritage sites. He said public land should be utilised to earn revenue. He directed officials to complete the feasibility of the Ravi Zone Development. He said heritage sites should be restored and recreational facilities provided to masses. Earlier, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Chairman Ahad Cheema gave a briefing on LDA plans. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Secretary Naveed Akram Cheema and Salman Shahbaz Sharif were also present.
