Cultural activities: Literature festival from March 16

University of Agriculture, Faisalabad spokesperson says festival was organised to promote literary activities.

FAISALABAD: The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) will organise the 2nd Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival from March 16 to March 21. A University of Agriculture, Faisalabad spokesman told the media on Thursday that the festival was being organised to promote literary activities in the third largest city of the country. He said the 2nd Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival would include a Qirat and Naat competition, a declamation contest, a quiz and a mushaira. The university spokesman said the festival would also feature a folk music competition, a painting contest, a book fair and a drama contest.
