SWABI: Officials of the Swabi police foiled an attempted kidnapping on Thursday. According to the police, unidentified men tried to abduct the son of a local hotelier. SHO Fayaz Khan said they received an intelligence tip that the kidnappers were trying to abduct Tariq, the son of local hotel owner Samar Gul. He added the police got to the site as soon as they could. When they got there, they found some men trying to take Tariq with them in a car but as soon as they saw the police was after them, the men left him and fled.
