The approval came after the Central Power Purchasing Agency’s (CPPA) requested NEPRA to raise the per unit price of electricity.
The increased price will be applicable on consumers of all electric power distribution companies in the country except K-Electric, formerly KESC.
The increase will show up as “Fuel Adjustment Charges” from the January billing cycle onwards.

@asad khan joke of century:economic policy has nothing to do with monetary policy/exchange reserves. when government(not individual) has bundle of exchange reserves specially dollars, then it means government have gold reserves, which means government should use this commodity not currency for benefit of public. But pml-n has to facilitate of their own business partners interests related to IPP's, like mian muhammad mansha and khawaja asif instead of facilitating public.
@Salman: To put in simple words. The lions of oligarchy are now smart, they let dazzle everybody with s price of Dollar (which has nothing to do with Economic Policy, the price of foreign currency is related with monetary policy / reserves ratio outflows ) and attack at midnight
Remember now everybody in Pakistan owns dollar. Yet almost everybody needs electricity somehow or the other.
Pathetic Masses, Lower IQ level, equally lower journalism level.
