Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday unveiled the team's new kit for the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup.

Tweenty20 captain Mohammad Hafeez unveiled the kit in Lahore.

The new kit is markedly different from the last T20 world cup shirt. Most notably, the kit has done away with the flag on the left shoulder. Instead, the new kit has opted to keep the crescent on the front, much like the 2011 world cup kit.

The new kit has also done away with the stars on the front of the shirt.

CA Sports, which is the official kit supplier for Pakistan Cricket Board, has used various shades of green in the their kit with wave-like designs.

As has become the norm, the PCB crest is on the left and the T20 world cup logo on the right. Pakistan, in yellow lettering is scrawled across the front. The sponsor logos are on the left and right sleeves.

Earlier in the day, Hafeez said “as a player and as a captain I am very happy that our first match is against India. Hopefully, we will get a good take-off from there and we will perform better in all matches of the tournament.”
