Top level meetings: Maldives seeks Pakistani arms, aircraft

Pakistan and Maldives discuss defence relations and cooperation in military training and joint military exercises.

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan and Maldives on Monday discussed defence relations and cooperation in military training, joint military exercises and defence production. During a meeting between chief of Maldives National Defence Forces Maj Gen Ahmed Shiyam and Defence Secretary Asif Yasin Malik, both sides also emphasised on cooperation in production of small arms, ammunition, aircraft like JF-17, Super Mashak and K-8, security vehicles and bullet proof jackets. Earlier Maj Gen Shiyam called on COAS General Raheel Sharif. During the meeting matters of bilateral defence collaboration were discussed, said an ISPR press release.

They should be supplied.Afterll not much time is left before maldives disappears due to climate change!
