Death anniversary: Pathanay Khan remembered

Anjuman-i-Shehriyan President Amjad Ali says Khan was a distinguished singer.

MUZAFFARGARH: The 14th death anniversary of singer Pathanay Khan was observed in Muzaffargarh on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Anjuman-i-Shehriyan President Amjad Ali said Khan was a distinguished singer.

He said no one could sing kafis like Khan. Pathanay Khan was born in Kot Addu in 1926. He was awarded the Presidential Award in 1979. He gained popularity for singing poetry of Khawaja Ghulam Farid and Shah Hussain.
