LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Saturday sent a man and his wife accused of killing their eight-month-old son and two-year-old daughter on 14-days judicial remand.

Bisma Bibi and her husband Sunny are accused of strangling their son Yousaf and drowning their daughter Minahal.

Johar Town police produced them before a judicial magistrate and stated that they had recovered the rope Yousaf was strangled with.

They said they had also recovered Bisma Bibi’s diary in which she had written that she did not want to go on living.

The police asked the court for directions to have the writing in the diary examined by a handwriting expert. Bisma Bibi’s writing samples were then obtained for comparison.

The police said she was apparently suffering from a psychological disorder.
