Tehran has taken up kidnapping of five Iranian border guards with Islamabad at diplomatic level.

QUETTA: Tehran has taken up the kidnapping of five Iranian border guards with Islamabad at the diplomatic level, sources in Iran told The Express Tribune on Thursday. Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is in direct contact with officials of the Pakistani Foreign Office over the matter, they said. “Over the past two days, the foreign minister has talked with Pakistani authorities,” Iran’s deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs told a news agency a day earlier.
