Pro-taliban policy: Religious parties to protest govt policy

According to them, the militant groups continue to strike the people of Pakistan without any consequences.

The local leaders of parties belonging to the Sunni sect have announced a protest on Friday (today) against the government’s ‘pro-Taliban policy’ as they claimed it is disastrous for the country.


The protest call has been endorsed by the leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan, Ahle Sunnat Action Committee, and Jamaat-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat’s Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Naseem Ahmed Sehar, Allama Ghulam Shabbir Qadri and other officials, who made an announcement at a press conference at Karachi Press Club on Thursday.

According to them, the militant groups continue to strike the people of Pakistan without any consequences.
