The importance of Karachi cannot be overlooked. It is hard to imagine a safe and secure Pakistan without a safe and secure Karachi. Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan, and the deteriorating security situation impacts the rest of the country. We fully support the government of Pakistan in their efforts to restore peace in the country. We are working closely with the government of Pakistan, as evident by the recent meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Defense Secretary, Chuck Hagel in Islamabad in December. Several issues pertaining to our shared interests and concerns were discussed in the meeting. At the end of the day, Pakistan’s security and stability is simply vital to the region’s security and stability. It is our wish and desire to see a safe and secure Pakistan. We hope to remain in a healthy working relationship, and have full confidence in Pakistan government’s ability to negate the threat of violence in the country.

A majority of criminals in Karachi are either Afghan Pashtuns or Pakistani Pukhtoons.

Where there is a will, there is a way! Taking provincial government onbaord which is party to the overall mess is a joke in itself. Fed or Provincial govt have never been serious about Karachi, not now nor in the past.
What kind of people are these? Reportedly, they slaughtered one also. Can it get any disgusting than this?
CRIME STILL REMAINS A CRIME A minor theft paves a path for the henious crimes. Strange to note the Afghan refugees & their generation born in the country are moving around freely and unchecked. They are seen operating nearly in all areas in the city as paper pickers and hardly any physical check has been noticed being conducted for their identity and the material being carried during odd hours.
