Halal foods: ‘Pak-China should cooperate’

Sharif said the demand for Halal food was increasing worldwide.

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that Pakistan had an important role to play in the international livestock market.

He was talking to a Chinese delegation associated with halal food and livestock industries led by Chinese Qinghai Group chairperson Wang Xihui. Sharif said the demand for Halal food was increasing worldwide. A slaughter house had been set up in Lahore where meat processing was carried out using modern methods. Xihui said his group wanted to promote cooperation in halal food and livestock sectors.

Tariq Mehmood Butt was harrassed, the PK livestock plant was threatened by Malir Development Authority. Sindh Govt did everything in its power to stop the plant and end any chance of establishing a meat export business who will earn foreign exchange for pakistan. And now the sharif brothers want to setup a plant in lahore. schizoprenics.
