
“Being the victims of terrorism, people of Pakistan fully understand and share the pain of the people of China,” a foreign office statement said.
It further said that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitute the most serious threat to international peace and security. “We are ready to extend all possible cooperation to China in combating this menace,” it added.
More than 10 terrorist suspects attacked people at the square and ticket hall of South West China city of Kunming Railway Station on Saturday. At least 33 people were killed while more than 130 others were injured in the attack, Xinhua news agency reported.
Police shot dead five attackers and are hunting for the remaining assailants.
Speaking to the media earlier in the day Chinese President Xi Jinping urged law enforcement agencies to investigate and solve the case of Kunming terrorist attack with all-out efforts and punish the terrorists in accordance with the law.
