South Africa beat Pakistan by 6 wickets to lift the Under-19 World Cup

South Africa achieved the 131 runs target with 47 balls to spare.

DUBAI: South Africa beat Pakistan by six wickets with 47 balls to spare and lift the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 World Cup final in Dubai on Saturday.

Earlier, Pakistan had won the toss and opted to bat first. But South Africa bundled them out for just 131 runs in 44 overs.

Corbin Bosch took 4 wickets for only 15 runs in his 7.3 overs.

Previously, Pakistan had defeated England and South Africa beat Australia to face each other in the final match of the World Cup.

Its amazing how Pakistan has such a difficult time producing good batsmen. Its not just with the current international team, but it seems something which goes much deeper than that. I'm sure there is some cultural or psychological reason for that that we need to get to the bottom of.

Strengths and weaknesses are same as are with the senior team which indicate our inherent issues... on major one being 'mental toughness'. PCB must think of having the services of a psychologist.
