Grenade attack: PML-N leader’s hujra targeted

Hujra of district leader of PML-N in Dagai partially damaged.

SWABI: The hujra of a district leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Dagai was partially damaged on Friday when unidentified militants lobbed a hand grenade. Qazi Asif, an official of the Kalu Khan police, said a grenade exploded early Friday morning at PML-N District Revenue Secretary Haji Shah Jehan Khan’s hujra, damaging the boundary wall, windows and doors. Asif said after the incident, Haji informed the police who rushed to the village and launched a search operation after blocking all entry and exit routes. The official added a case was filed against unidentified militants as Haji reported he had no enmity with anyone and had not been threatened.
