In the first session Pakistani companies Engro Corporation, Abacus Consultancy, Allied Bank Limited, Sidat Hyder Morshed, and Mitchell’s presented their company profiles and recruitment procedures to the career councillors and Pakistani students.
Many Pakistani students showed keen interest in returning to their country. In his welcome address, vice principle of the university Prof Andrew George thanked the British Council in facilitating the important initiative and working closely with Brunel’s placement department.
He also highlighted that Brunel is proud of its strong ties with Pakistani student population which is both large and active.

I was talking to one of my good friends who is at Manchester University, and he was telling me, there were Pakistani firms looking to recruit. I said, did you go and inquire about what they were pitching.,... he said when i saw what they were offering, i just laughed and walked away.
You are not going to recruit British Pakistanis or others by offering them 200 pounds a month. Thats worse than the dole. (Unemployment benefits in the UK)....
@Ahmed: I have 2 elder brothers both of whom have graduated from universities abroad and both of whom are now back in Pakistan earning in Rupees. Some people have other priorities in life.
