All eyes at the 44^th NAACP Image Awards were on the cast of Scandal as the ensemble of the hit political thriller (nominated for the Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series among other categories) arrived on the red carpet. We chose the leading ladies Kerry Washington and Derby Stanchfield of the American television series for this week’s style off.

Hair and make-up

Much like her co-star, Stanchfield kept her make-up simple in warm shades of peach and styled her hair in a sophisticated side-part updo.

Outfit

Stanchfield chose a jewel-toned Carolina Herrera dress in green with a scoop neckline and a taupe cinch detail at the waist.

Shoes and accessories

The actor paired her dress with a Judith Leiber clutch and H Stern jewelry.

Bathed in pregnancy glow, Washington opted for a fishtail braid and kept her makeup minimalistic; choosing warm peach hues to compliment her gown.

The heavily pregnant star kept the rest of her look just as simple and showed off her baby bump in a royal blue custom-made Thakoon dress with a peach off the shoulder trimming.

 Shoes and accessories

The actor completed her look with Christian Louboutin shoes, a Prada bag, and a Suzanne Kalan ring.
