Mass murder: Doubts cast on one sibling’s role
A final investigation report is to be prepared after other test results arrive from the forensic laboratory.
LAHORE:
Police have received the postmortem report of eight people who were bludgeoned to death in Johar Town area three days ago. A senior police investigator told The Express Tribune that the autopsy report showed that seven out of the eight victims died after they were hit on the head with a blunt object. The eighth man, Nazeer, died of a drug overdose at least an hour after the death of his two siblings, their wives and their three children. Senior police officer said that the report had reinforced doubts about Nazeer, who possibly committed suicide after murdering his family. A final investigation report is to be prepared after other test results arrive from the forensic laboratory.
