Land dispute: Three people shot dead

The police have registered a case and are investigating.

DI KHAN: Three members of a family were gunned down when as many men opened fire at them in DI Khan’s Kulachi tehsil on Thursday, said an official of the Kulachi police station. He added that the incident took place in Tehri village. Payanda Gul, his brother Spin Gul and nephew Mai Gul died on the spot while the culprits managed to escape before the police got to the scene of the crime. Initial reports suggest the three family members were killed over a land dispute involving forest ownership. Previously, the men had argued over the matter as well. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
