Resolving problems: Govt to help businesses, says commissioner

10-member liaison committee constituted to help business community and play its role in resolving their problems.

KARACHI: The government is striving to resolve the problems confronted by industrialists, investors and traders, said commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui. In a statement issued on Thursday, he said that all available resources were being used to resolve the problems of traders and investors. The business community was being provided maximum possible relief to give boost to their activities. On the government’s directives, a 10-member liaison committee led by the commissioner had been constituted, he added. The committee will help the business community and also play its role in resolving their problems. The committee will meet once a month. Maintaining law and order in Sindh and security for businessmen are among the top priorities of the government, Siddiqui added.
