M H Waziri | 14 years ago | Reply Untill the construction of Karakoram Highway (KKH) such insidents would happen. The consecutive silence of Government on lazy work of KKH construction is beyond imagination. All this scenario clarifies that Pakistani government is not interested in rehabilitation and development of 'Lawless State'i.e. Gilgit Baltistan. The Pak Government is also interested in giving the royalty of Diamer dam. The recent autonomy given to GB is just to stop the voices which raised against the construction of this dam. Since the affliation of GB with Pakistan, the region had been neglected by evry pakistani government. because of the injustices and great gams played by pak governments, the youth of Gb are converting rapidly towards nationalism, which would lead to chaotic and subversive effects on Pak governments.
