Search operation: At least 23 suspects arrested

DI KHAN: At least 23 suspects were arrested during a search operation carried out by the police and elite forces personnel in Dir Pur and Darka Wali villages of DI Khan on Monday. The operation continued for two hours during which all routes were sealed and residents were asked to stay indoors. The 23 taken into custody, who include Afghan nationals and Waziristan tribesmen, were put in jail at the Cantt Police Station. The search was conducted after police received a tip-off that members of a banned organisation were hiding in the area.
