Pre-Valentine’s Day pampering

An intimate gathering, delightful array of food and manicures to boot, Natasha’s soiree was the perfect way to unwind.

More so than anything else, Valentine’s Day is about being pampered and feeling good about yourself. Also spring is on its way with new hairstyles on the horizon to play with. Hair stylist Natasha Saigol has always provided a bespoke service to her clients and to keep up with the festivities of Valentine’s Day, she hosted a pre-Valentine’s Day Soiree at her Salon on February 13, 2014.

With some of her regular clients in attendance, the evening allowed people to relax and pamper themselves before the madness of Valentine’s Day hit. The salon had taken a very festive turn with V-Day paraphernalia everywhere.

Along with the casual meet and greet, Natasha gave a live hairstyle preview on the very willing singer/host Aliha Chaudry. Keeping in mind the current trends, Natasha styled Aliha’s hair in a messy side bun and added some flowers to give it a feminine look. “Like last year, curls, braids and side buns are going to be very popular this spring too, and I have styled Aliha’s hair keeping that in mind,” says Saigol, “I’ve added some flowers to give is a more elegant look. The side swept bun is perfect for V-Day parties or dinners.”

The guests relaxed and munched on snacks from Cosa Nostra’s Delicatessen while getting their nails done for the occasion. “I think it was a great idea,” says Amna Zubair, Natasha Saigol’s client and friend, “it is fun getting some useful tips while getting your nails done and catching up with people you don’t regularly bump into. I have been coming to Natasha for years because I love the way she styles my hair and I can trust her with my look.”
