LAHORE: The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) President Chaudhary Ishtiaq, Pakistan Bar Council Vice Chairman Chaudhary Ramazan, Punjab Bar Council Member Qazi Awais Ahmed and representatives of various bar councils said on Tuesday they had informed the Lahore High Court chief justice that they would not allow any new judge to work. They complained they had not been taken into confidence on the division of work between Lahore City and New Lahore sessions judges and would launch a series of demonstrations if the notification was not withdrawn by February 15. According to the notification, the Lahore City court will be set up at the Aiwan-i-Adl and the New Lahore court at the Sessions Court Complex.
