Hamza murder case: Charges to be framed on February 20

Hamza was gunned down allegedly by security guard of another teenager, after heated argument on April 27, 2013.

KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court III has set February 20 as the date for framing charges against the suspects in the Hamza murder case. On Thursday, ATC-III supplied copies to the suspects under section 265-C (supply of statements and documents to accused) of the Criminal Procedure Code and adjourned the case till next hearing for indictment. Hamza Ahmed, a 17-year-old student, was gunned down allegedly by the security guard, Amal Rehman, of another teenager, Shoaib Naveed, after they got into a heated argument on April 27, 2013. The guard has gone into hiding and has been declared an absconder while Shoaib and the two drivers, Idrees and Mushtaq, have been declare as ‘harbouring offenders’ in the reinvestigation report. The suspects are currently out on bail. The court adjourned the case till February 20.
