Afghanistan withdrawal: Germany offers help post-2014

Interior minister says Pakistan is trying to play its role in bringing about some level of sanity in the region.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar has laid emphasis on greater coordination between Pakistan and the international community in the post-2014 scenario in Afghanistan. He was talking to Michael Koch, special representative of the German government for Afghanistan and Pakistan. Germany’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr Cyrill Nunn was also present during the meeting. Nisar said Pakistan is trying to play its role in bringing about some level of sanity in the region. He asked for a sense of balance, responsibility and clarity from all countries concerned.
